Fashion makes a sizeable contribution to climate change.
The good news is that there are tangible actions companies and other stakeholders can take—at scale—to put fashion on a more sustainable path. For example, increasing efficiency in material use and production, designing out waste and extending product life through reuse or remanufacturing can significantly reduce emissions across the value chain. But innovative business models are also critical, as they can provide new ways to generate value while using fewer resources.
