As Autumn is now well and truly here we turn our minds to boot rooms (or mud rooms for our 🇺🇸 clients and followers). This room, from a country house project in England, is part of a 1980’s extension to the original house. By adding vertical painted boards and antiques we’ve given the room character, and a link to the main house, whilst keeping it feeling fresh and light. Out of shot there are cupboards, benches and pegs galore! We find a chest of drawers completely invaluable in a boot room for dog leads, gloves, woolly hats... all those small things that you never have anywhere to put! 📸 @simonuptonphotos
