Half hex deadlift

Very similar to the hex bar but slightly lighter.

I think with the half hex bar, the weight is slightly front-loaded compared to the full hex; in both cases, more straightforward than doing a straight bar deadlift.

I like this exercise because it enabled you to lift slightly more and get a feel of the weight you want to transfer to the straight bar.

The handles are to the side and slightly higher compared to a traditional deadlift which is to the front. This makes the degree of the lift slightly less and more “quad dominant”

If you want to lift more weight on the quads than you would on a squat but engage some posterior chain muscles, give this a go.

Mix this up with your other leg routines and watch your strength and size increase.
