But Wait There's More _ Happy Mother's day! Hope everyone's had a good weekend. Here is a moody one from Summer earlier this year when storm season was in full swing. I remember finishing work on this evening and watching a storm incoming on the way back home. A sunset after a storm has the chance to provide some of the most interesting light. So I rushed home, grabbed my gear and headed straight here. Well I did get interesting light. As sunset drew near I watched the horizon giving off an increasingly warm glow. With the storm now behind me but still spewing bolts I really hoped a lightning bolt would flash into my composition and that the sunset would be an absolute banger. Unfortunately and fortunately a second storm was forming off to the far west near the Blue Mountains. This second storm was also lighting up with lightning(yay!) but was blocking the sunlight(nay!). Moody clouds above from the first storm, a warm horizon glow from the sunset and a distant storm slowly growing and shooting off lighting. It was such a weird and fascinating set of conditions.
