This week has been packed, as usual. I took my 8th Advanced Anatomy, Path & Physiology exam on Monday. We have yet to receive our grades. Before, this would give me so much anxiety, but now I know what I can control and what I can’t. It’s best to focus on the controllable. That is, I gave my all, I studied hard, and I can’t want more from myself. So here is a little recap of my week. I celebrated with a Cosmopolitan and found a friendly neighborhood restaurant with a live band on Friday night. I love my matching pink phone case from @pelacase Another friends disagreement solved. Now, they are back to the three amigos. I was scheduled for two days this weekend but only managed to go one day. By Friday, I had completed less than I had planned. This week, I had an individual paper, a group paper times two, and a learning extension for pharmacology. I have been able to still walk to the bus stop with Kaleb most mornings and take Onyx on a walk. My workout schedule did suffer this week for several reasons, but I am thankful for what I could do. The quote speaks for itself. I do not tip on things I can’t change. I have too much to do. Most days, I’m just thugging it. I want to get up and get all dressed. I have found myself getting up at 0600-0630 most days to work on projects that are not school-related. So getting all the dresses to sit in my office is sometimes out of reach. I’m just glad I am surviving and thriving. Boy, when they say the test is cumulative, they mean since the beginning of time. I pulled out notes from my first quarter of school for my last test. It’s also amazing how my notes have transitioned in this short period. I was talking to someone at work and explaining how handwritten notes are not the way to go. I mostly write out single concepts. Handwriting notes take too much time. Take notes. Use your time wisely. Get with a group and divvy up the work. You will thank me later. Lastly, Henderson Hasselbalch. I will get into this in my stories this week so turn your notifications on. Well, that recaps last week. I am looking forward to things to come this week and getting closer to the end of the quarter. Three weeks left. #nurse
