This past winter I was asked to model as Marilyn’s styling double for this never been done before expression of and homage to the icon herself, @marilynmonroe. The incredible team at @nowopentv produced 8 covers for @crfashionbook, reimagining what Marilyn would wear and and look like in todays fashion world. Through pure coincidence, I was also performing as Marilyn in my play production of The UnAmerican during the same month. Both of these projects were challenging, intimidating, rewarding, and so very transformative for my artistic career. Getting to really know and understand Marilyn not only helped me become a better performer, but become a better version of myself. Her confidence, intelligence, work ethic, and tenacity had taught me so much about navigating this very difficult industry with grace and patience for myself. And to celebrate all the moments, big and small, for the victories they are. Because life is just one big, beautiful show. So, thank you Marilyn, this has been one of the biggest honors of my life.
