I’m here for the chandelier in the charming kitchen - and, well, in virtually every room - in this romantic, sunny flat overlooking Regents Park. Of the Versailles-style neoclassical interior architecture, owner Elizabeth Krohn told her designer, Ben Pentreath, “I don’t want to rip it all out.” Says @benpentreath, “That had my full respect.” The pair got on famously, with Pentreath deftly blending Krohn’s beloved furniture collection with fresh finds and Krohn enthusiastically embracing his bolder suggestions, such as replacing the gray central hall with overscale faux malachite, third image. “It was an early bonding moment,” quips Pentreath. “We had very good synergy.” Full story in November AD; link in bio.
