It is also the 25th anniversary of the internationally acclaimed Jeff Buckley Tribute at Chicago’s @uncommongroundchi Ever since the first tribute, Uncommon Ground has been dedicated to continuing to uplift Jeff’s music, as well as champion up-and-coming artists from all over the world, in the spirit of Jeff’s now infamous performance there back in 1994. The tribute is a fundraiser for Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music Scholarship Fund. Musicians donate their time and talent to perform two songs on Wednesday, November 16th. Past events have featured performers from all over the world, including France, Italy, Denmark, Holland, Mexico, UK, Australia, and Canada. By being a part of this event, you are supporting the next generation of artists, communing with other musicians, and celebrating the life and birthday of a legendary artist.
