Austin Armstrong would have been 30 years old today! Hard to believe how long its been since I had my last moments with my brother. A lot of my memories of him and how we’d play together and fight together are fading, and I’m barely clinging to the memory of how his voice sounds (“aaaannnniiieeee sttoopppppp” is the clearest i’ve got). The passage of time does throw me some bones though, like previously undeveloped disposable cameras, or the graffiti a recent renovation to one of his friends’ houses revealed under some floorboards (his initials and the initials of his 5th grade crush). No matter how long its been, though, Austin’s life force will always be with me. I love you happy birthday
