Time waits for NOONE!!! While visiting Morocco years ago, I had the chance to visit the Atlas Mountains and encountered wild Barbary Apes🐒 on the way up. @chunlinacakes and I couldn’t believe how beautiful and intelligent they were!!! As soon as we exited the car, they knew what time it was. Our guide gave us a few peanuts to feed the apes and afterwards we spent the rest our time observing them in amazement. Fast forward to today, I recently learned that they are an endangered species and that tourism has played a part in it. Because they associate human interactions with food, it has removed their caution ⚠️ around people which can result in them getting easily captured by poachers. Today, I feed animals at conservancies since the animals are in a controlled habitat for their protection (injured or rescued animals). Learning about in my impact was def a game changer!
