In high school I spent most of my time wishing I could grow up, move to the city, and go to college. I thought as soon as I got here I’d be happy. The past 4 years have been a mix of emotions - full of new friendships, stress, tears (lots), therapy, love, and laughs. Less than halfway through college I wanted to give up and leave, I felt like I failed myself for hating what I’ve always wanted. But in this last year I’ve learned to live in the moment for the first time. I know mental health is a rollercoaster and happiness isn’t a permanent destination but for now I’m so thankful to have found my people here, thank you to everyone who is in my life & who has supported me. I am a v happy girl, even if I cry for the next week 🥲💘
