Still processing everything that happened in the past few days. I told myself months ago that I would win @redbullbcone World Final this year. I decided that all the dark shit I went through these past 2 years wouldn’t be for nothing. I walked onto that floor already feeling like I won because I realized that champs don’t just occur on the big stage but at all times because God is always watching. I channeled my ancestors, higher guidance, my tribes/crew near and far. These moments on stage were in my meditations, dreams, and prayers. I set the intention with myself. I went to @breakinmia almost everyday with guidance, support, and motivation from @zekumia @nelzwon @linksmia @meelisa.amazzzonkicrew @ffcdoug. I executed my training plan w/ my strength coach @momostrength and @teejaylee @offset.med. I got with my therapist every week in the past year. I gave @razalan my life updates and asked if he could cover on some things for me so I can focus on training/rest. And we keep it goin ☝🏽 The people I just mentioned, THANK YOU ALL FOR SUPPORTING ME ON THIS JOURNEY. You’re family to me and I am SO SO grateful. This milestone means so much to me because it represents my rise out of a dark time that actually haunted me for a while. Refer to my previous post to read about my “why” for this win.
