The tent/ gear shit show is real but I can’t pretend that I am not counting days until I get the spread/ hang all my wet stuff in every nook of my tent again. In 2022 I have spent almost 8 weeks living out of a tent or sometimes just directly in the beach. It was a record year and I couldn’t feel better about it. Being off grid and living with just enough to keep you safe and comfortable is exactly what I needed coming off some big years of going over the life speed limit. It’s the distance from commitments, computers, news, bills, and general responsibilities that I crave. It’s being close to people, the mother 🌏, and just being present that gives me feul. I am going to try to get to 10 weeks in 2023, who’s coming?
