First of all i would love to thank my dear friend and director @billmcadamsjr for giving me an opportunity to be part of a movie that raise a cause that is very close to my heart. I’m proud to share my first role in a Hollywood production: “Bully High”. This film is close to my heart because it addresses the difficulties of being a Muslim/Arab in America. Having lived in the US for over 10 years, i myself have have been stereotyped and profiled because of my religion or culture, and have lost many job opportunities because of this prejudice. This issue is more important than ever with what we’re seeing faced by our sisters in Iran, for being oppressed by not wearing the Hijab or wearing it correctly. With my own experiences, and seeing what women in Iran are dealing with today, i can see two countries dealing with the same issue, but in two paradoxes. This leads us to the most important point.
