SURGERY UPDATE* Just got back from my first check up post surgery and everything is looking good. I was started on some antibiotics just to be safe for possible infection, the doctor said there was a little more red than he would like to see but didn’t think it was infected; it was still a good choice to go on antibiotics though because I was put in a hard cast for two more weeks and we wouldn’t be able to see if it did turn into an infection. All in all everything is going good with this. It has definitely been hard on the mental side of things, I’m just such an independent person who does so many things each day. You truly don’t appreciate all the things you have until they are taken away. I’m not complaining at all because I know many people are going through much more difficult things than I am, just sharing my thoughts as they come with the experience. I believe many lessons are delivered to us in life, often we do not recognize them as lessons though; I try to stay in tune with the things that happen in my life so that I may learn and become wiser through them. Thank you so much to everyone who has been helping me out though this, especially my Mom, @jamessakaley (aka his family @shadyacresfarmohio )and the Magda family. Shout out to my godmother Jackie for cooking me some insanely good vegan meals!!! You could start restaurant with these recipes!!!
