Happy Mother’s Day to the Queens who shaped me and taught me how to be a woman of faith. My Grandma Washington (Hattie), I remember hearing her pray and weep over me as a child, she taught me my first solo “Walk in the Light”, and the love she gave follows me even now. My Mema (Queen Mother Callie Williams), I remember her praying and laying hands on me, she was my first teacher, and I’ve learned the importance of ministry and family because of her. My Mommmmmmyyyyyy. My Mother. My All and All. The beautiful experience of her anointing everything from my head, my practice tests, putting oil in my food and down my throat, I can’t begin to count the ways she’s saved my life. I am here because of their prayers and wisdom.
