One month down, two to go! 116.11 miles run so far, plus cross training days. It has not been easy, I basically was half in half out for the first couple weeks, every day no knowing if I would have the energy or drive to do my training the next day, but I would just focus on that day and do the best I could for that day. No lie, some days suck, I don’t always have the energy or I’m already sore from the previous days workout, and truthfully the hardest part is managing my time and schedule to prioritize time for training... but on the plus side running always makes me feel mentally stronger and can be very meditative if I can get my head in the game right. It’s been several years since I’ve trained for a marathon (this will be my third) and each time I’ve done it because a friend suggested we do it and I’ve always been up for the challenge, so thank you @pearce.lydia for inspiring this goal. We got this!!! 1/3 of the way there!
