Today I am proud to share something I have been working on for a year now, my fall & holiday collection, in collaboration with @label.rail and @asos! I went from sketching the pieces, to creating the mood-boards, to the design meetings where I learned what it would take to ultimately create these pieces. I can’t wait to show you how some of these came together, from the inspiration, to fabric selection, to the final design. We carefully curated options that reflect my style, incorporating elements I have worn onstage and off. I wanted to create something that brings those performance moments into daily life. This collection is inspired by my years of traveling and collecting vintage pieces on tour, one of a kind pieces that are now re-imagined. So many silhouettes here are homages to dresses and suits I have worn on stage, and the rock heroes that made me who I am. Because I owe everything to New York City, I will be donating 30% of what I make from this collection to the @girlsclubny. With this donation we can help further the dreams and opportunities for other girls in New York like I was and still am. The collection is live in 1 hour on asos.com.
