Do you use a cotton pad to apply your treatment toner or do you pat it directly into skin?
For me, it depends. I am usually more included to use a cotton pad when a toner has a thinner, more water consistency or highlights exfoliating acids. The thicker, juicier liquid solutions usually feel so good when you pat them directly into the skin and maybe even combine the application with a quick facial massage.
Here are my most used liquid steps and my preferred way of application:
@royalfernskincare Phytoactive Skin Perfecting Essence — hydrating, softening, micro exfoliating, purifying; cotton pads always
@arconalosangeles Cranberry Toner — gently cleansing, skin refining, and clarifying; cotton pads for sure
@orlane_paris Royale Lotion — deeply hydrating and regenerating, infused with Royal Jelly; love patting this one into the skin with my fingers
@orvedaskincare Healing Sap — brightening, fatigue fighting magic; feels so soothing when pressed into skin with my hands
@santamarianovella1221 Acqua di Maggio — incredibly refreshing and hydrating; this one does great with either cotton pads or splashed directly on the skin
@omorovicza Silver Skin Tonic — antimicrobial and great for congested pores in the summer; cotton pad application
Favorite cotton: @whiterabbit_official which I get on @amazon (it comes in classic and textured — I preferred the textured)
What treatment toners should I try this Fall/Winter?
