Walking around Oxfordshire. ... From months/years/(seeming)lifetimes of travel, to not doing so seems so abrupt. Trying to remember what my life was like before I started, I can't fathom my previous mindset. In what way did I think of things before I had seen and experienced so much? Trying to look through those eyes of the previous 'me' is impossible when I think about everywhere that I've been, even in just the past year. .... So I wonder and wander, taking each moment as it comes, trying to not over think my place in this world, just taking my time and trying to make the right choice for my next steps. Time off travel feels like the right thing to do right now. To stop and regroup, develop some skills or do something mindless. It seems right at this moment in my life, but it's bizarre to me in so many ways as my heart is still in the hills and forests, waking to the sound of birdsong and the rustling of animals in the undergrowth.
