TRACK your wins consistently (writing down accomplishments, saving screenshots and emails of good feedback & compliments) When I worked on investment banking, I fked up. I feel like I was just busy grinding every day and executing that I didn’t really think about how to properly advocate for my work to the right people. Now at my new firm now this is something that I actively think about consistently. it is really crucial that u advocate your own achievements to your manager/ leadership - when it’s time for performance review you will have a long list of all your value adds and proof/ paper trail of good feedback 🤝 This video is kind of centered around that idea except a lot more high-level because I don’t want to reveal too much about my conversations with my manager. hopefully these videos remind you to do this at work too!!!
