From @letmeusemyhands to @artofchill to @j.a.l.i.l...each one of em gets more special. on one of the evenings of your pop up the heat had just subsided...about 2 mango margs in by my ace @gabe__vasquez i looked over at you Bhaiya. the smoke rising from the grill with your tiny speaker playing music like they do in the side smoke shops back home. This brought me back to traveling home as a kid and having to take a ferry to a bus to visit my grandmothers grave. every hour in that car to noakhali got hotter and hotter, my mother always thought in those moments pulling over for chaat and 7up was the only way to cool down. The smoke from the tiny petrol tank that motored the whole chaat truck, the smoke cleared and it brought me back to Bedford ave and Quincy st, kinda like Dhaka in the summer, kind like Lahore in the summer.
