Estoy muy emocionada de estar en México esta semana en una reunión junto con mi equipo de @SeaLegacy para la Segunda Cumbre Anual Internacional de los Océano. Con nuestros colegas y funcionarios gubernamentales dedicados a la salud de los océanos y la comunidad, estamos trabajando para establecer una reserva de la biosfera que aseguraría el futuro del Golfo de California, el punto más septentrional del Pacífico Tropical Oriental. Para proteger la increíble diversidad de vida y los medios de vida locales a lo largo de las costas y los mares de este ecosistema crucial, debemos crear protecciones más sólidas. I am so excited to be in Mexico this week to reunite with my @SeaLegacy team for the 2nd Annual International Ocean Summit. With our fellow colleagues and government officials dedicated to ocean and community health, we are working to establish a biosphere reserve that would secure the future of the Gulf of California, the northernmost point of the Eastern Tropical Pacific. In order to safeguard both the incredible diversity of life and local livelihoods along the coasts and seas of this critical ecosystem, we must create stronger protections.
