Merry Christmas! The Carnes are doing great. We have been in a slower and quieter season together as a family, just trying to be fully present with our boys and take in lots of moments together. Sweet Canyon is a new homeschooler and we are loving every minute of it. It’s been so special to have mornings around the fireplace and just learning new things altogether. It’s an exciting and sweet new season. Canyon is showing lots of interest in the electric guitar, Lego building and anything in Mario world. Kingston is a cutie and is constantly making us laugh. He is still very much into the drums. He also hones in on new sports every few weeks and role plays real life sports characters. It’s very common for him to have on cleats, a baseball or football jersey, a catchers mask and glove in hand all day. It’s fun to see what he’s gravitating toward. Cody wrote and worked hard on 2 new worship albums, 1 that already released in 2022 and the other starts releasing next Spring. I have been enjoying some rest and quiet time with the boys, hearing the Lord on some new big things that are in my heart, including some pop up worship nights called Just Jesus. It’s been really sweet to just dream and hear the Lord on some new things and start working toward them! We so enjoy what we do and look forward to all that 2023 will hold for us.
