Unbelievably beautiful—fall foliage in Japan. Although it’s about two weeks later than last year, I’m lucky to be in the mountains of Fukuoka, where the leaves are already turning red. This temple is located in the mountains, so it’s cooler and a bit hard to get to, but definitely worth the trek—must grab a cab to get there.
