Light Burst _ Hey! Still alive here. I started editing this one and then got swamped by back to back adventures (not that I'm complaining!). Here's a shot taken from one of my absolute favourite viewpoints in the spectacular Blue Mountains. For this morning the weather was forecasted to have a small batch of low clouds hanging over the Blue Mountains with a clear sky further east. I was hoping this meant a heavy moody sky with a nice cloudless gap for the sun to burst through at sunrise. Unfortunately this did not happen. A bit disappointed but that's how the landscape photography game works. Fortunately though I was teaching a workshop the previous night and I made a mental note of how epic light rays occurred before sunset only for the light to die out by sunset. I hoped a similar thing would occur after sunrise... and for just a couple of minutes - boom!
