My childhood was filled with jazz, rhythm and blues and soul music. Tap has always been one of my favorite types of dance because there’s a certain flow with it that’s connected to the music. I don’t know how to dance lol, so I’m always compelled to incorporate it into my visual projects. It brings a certain kind of nostalgia from how I was raised growing up.
