What's this? Another doubletrack route across Europe? But surely that makes more than 10,000km of documented and shared routes that you've created! Give that man a cigar. 😋 .... It's wonderful for me that people enjoy what I've made, but honestly I was just looking for something to do, something to focus on for a while rather than just aimlessly riding about Europe, which I'd already done for a few years before the EDT idea took hold. .... So here it is, a crossing of eastern (ish) Europe via a bunch of tracks and trails, roads and pathways, from Trieste Italy on the Adriatic coast to Ventspils Latvia, on the wild edge of the Baltic. It's by no means perfect, so if you do ride it, perhaps you could document the bits that don't work? That would be great, thanks 👌😏 .... (For some context as to why it's not perfect; I started it off with a case of COVID-19, not ideal, and was almost constantly exhausted and unmotivated for most of the journey, with the looming spector of my visa running out throughout it all...! Far from ideal, but it's still a route I'm happy with. ) ..... Still, even if it's not perfect, it is a great ride, a great dive into the diversity of eastern Europe, it's culture, history, landscapes and of course it's dirt road network.. ...
