A weird thing happened to me since becoming a mom... I am so afraid to allow myself to feel (or present as feeling)...sexy. This isn’t a post to distract you and pretend I didn’t just post a photo in my underwear. I shot a series a little bit ago with @mikerunt . My job for 18 year has required freedom in front of the camera and I have never ever been shy about it. But now that I’m a mom I feel shameful even though it’s still my job. Clients still check my social media to judge if I’m bookable. Some gals pull it off so well...I am proud of my body and how it created life, and I’m proud of my career. Surely I’m not alone... maybe it’s just another one of those “loosing yourself” things because society has all sorts of rules to how moms should be, and how we should feel? 🤷‍♀️
