Reader Deliveries: Congratulations to our long time reader Carlos @chinojp3 on the arrival of his brand new PTS Sport Classic Grey (sportclassicgrau; non-metallic UNI; 63A) 718 Cayman GT4 RS, delivered to @porschenaples in Naples, Florida. Carlos shared his inspiration for choosing Sport Classic Grey, writing, "I decided to go with Sport Classic Grey because it reminded me of the grey pantone we used when designing the Air Jordan 13 Retro “I’d rather be fishing” we released during Art Basel this year. The soft grey suede, with the ocean blue was a big inspiration behind the design of the shoe and I wanted to carry that energy over onto my GT4 RS spec." I have included a photo of this very shoe that Carlos paid homage to with his GT4 RS. As for the color, Sport Classic Grey is a modern Porsche color that debuted on the 997 Sport Classic in 2009. It is a non-metallic flat grey that is currently offered as a Paint-to-Sample color on the 718, 992, and Taycan models. Given its similarity to Chalk/Crayon (which is not offered on the GT4 RS), Carlos put his car next to a Chalk Cayenne where the difference, even if subtle, is evident - with Sport Classic Grey taking on a cooler, slightly green undertones, while Chalk takes on warmer, slightly beige undertones. As for the exterior spec, this Weissach Package example sports the optional forged magnesium wheels painted in Satin White Gold Metallic, which are paired with optional PCCB with Yellow calipers. Inside, we have the optional Leather/Race-Tex Interior in Black with Arctic Grey Stitching as the foundation. The optional Full Bucket Seats receive Arctic Grey inserts as part of this interior option. Other options inside include Instrument Dials and Chrono Stopwatch Dial in White, Seat Belts in Arctic Grey, Steering Wheel Column Casing in Leather, Storage Compartment Lid in Race-Tex with Porsche Crest, and Fire Extinguisher.
