for future reference: turn off your wheelchair before someone sits on your lap or risk them catching the steering & you heading for a lake...learn from my mistakes😂 • A week ago tomorrow we was in @mycenterparcs for my sisters 21st birthday. It made perfect sense to spend her day here as it’s a place we’ve grown up in. I spent my first birthday there & we’ve gone pretty much every year since, Annabel was only a few weeks old when she took her first trip here! So this place holds a lot of memories for us as a family including now @_annabelmarie_ milestone birthday. It’s taken me a while to make a post about this day as it most certainly took its toll on me, recovery has been rough & still on-going but it was a perfect day for her complete with a twilight spa experience, just gorgeous (& wheelchair accessible too, they even have a special heat resistant wheelchair so you can go into the treatment rooms)! I could say so much about my little sister & how much she means to me, I’m just so proud of her & who she’s grown up to be. Since the day she was born she’s been my best friend & I love getting to share life with her making memories together. I wouldn’t be who I am or where I am today without her.
