broken. We just lost my big cousin Brandon aka @gijoe_omg the one and only who I love so much. He was only 37. Gone. JUST had a show at The Roxy not even a week ago. one of my favorite people ever. my cousin. a year older. my cousin. my family. who has been one of my greatest inspirations as an artist. who helped me fight my bullies when we was kids in the hood. who showed me what it meant to say “fucc em” to any and every body who wasn’t fuccin wit me. which i needed to know and hear and must remember. who taught me about love, laughter, kindness, and strength. who taught me what courage, and persistence, and passion, and discipline looked like. who taught me what it looks like to bet on yourself. and to be a true loyal friend and family member. who hugged me til I was like lifted off the ground when niggas not halfway hard as him were scared of showing an inch of that affection towards their loved ones.
