SELECTOR ROLL CALL🚨 Ring de alarm 🔔 If you’re keen to come play some records at JUMBI , now’s a great time to slide in the DM’s and let it be known. We use the word selector intentionally - we are a one turntable venue- where the emphasis is placed on the selection and the element of mixing is completely removed. You don’t need to be a dj to play here - but the DJ’s we have LOVE IT ! All you need is some records and some time. We’ll feed you and provide the punches - plus a modest fee. We have no musical policy and really aim to showcase the whole spectrum of black music from noisy guitars to programmed machines via every kind of acoustic, folkloric , diasporic, traditional, choral, fusion and percussive amalgamation you could possibly imagine.
