After this performance as Joanne, a very old man came up to me and told me in a quiet and shaky voice that he had seen Elaine Stritch (the original) and Patti Lupone perform the role, and that I had done incredibly, there was nothing left un-done. He thanked me and left slowly, talking to no one else. God will I remember this show forever Thank u so much everybody ♥️
