✨Meet Anna✨ In May 2019, Anna was brought to @cookchildrens Emergency Department with what her mom thought was a severe allergic reaction. Anna was soon after diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder in which the body overproduces collagen causing her skin to harden and tighten so much that she could not make a fist or sit without difficulty. Now, she visits the hospital once a month for an IV infusion which takes about 6 hours per treatment.
