Saving the best for last this Leo season. Thank you friends for coming to our dumpling making birthday party. After hours of chopping, folding and wrapping 7 pounds of pork, 3 pounds of shrimp, and a heap of other ingredients, the 12 of us were able to make a tasty communal dinner. I begrudgingly made a vegetarian dumpling option that to my surprise turned out so well. Who knows, maybe I’ll incorporate my new recipe into my regular arsenal 😏 It was so fun gathering everyone to share in some good ole’ wholesome fun of stuffing meat in things. I really need to record and write down how im making everything. Like how much petrified orange peel is going into my wontons or how much chili soy bean paste and Sichuan peppers are going into my Mala dumplings. I’m just so happy the multitude of flavors came out in each stuffing and that everyone enjoyed themselves. That’s gift enough for me ☺️ #37
