World Octopus Day is coming up on October 8th 🐙 ⁠ We marvel at this fascinating creature. However, we've learned that #NuevaPescanova, the global seafood giant, has plans to build the world's first octopus farm in the Canary Islands. There is no evidence that their proposal accounts for its environmental or animal welfare consequences. We feel we have no choice but to take a stand. We cannot accept the octopus farm to move forward with construction.
