In 1987, this @janesaddiction record was on constant rotation not only on my turntable, but on every musician’s I knew. We would all go to a club called Scream downtown to see them play. The whole experience was pure teenage lawlessness. Nothing’s Shocking and Ritual de lo Habitual were great examples of the band’s progression and still hold a special place in my conscience. Being asked to fill in for @davenavarro while he’s regaining his strength is an honor. I will bring my love and respect for the band and it’s music to the stage in these following weeks.
