Naptime for a very busy foal 🐴 Sylvester now spends his days in the field with his foster mare Belle, and then they come in the barn at night so Sylvester can rest his very wobbly joints. His main activities outside are running around as much as his giraffe-like legs will allow and also copying every move that Belle makes. If she scratches her butt, he scratches his butt. If she eats grass, he pretends he’s eating grass. It’s so cute how he mimics her. As Sylvester bonds with his new mama he also looks for less attention from us humans. He is still curious about us though, and if we get down to his height he is much less shy about checking us out. He is particularly interested in Coco who visits him countless times in any 24 hour period. She loves him so much and he can feel it. For videos, please see my story.
