Out of this world ⚽️ 💥 🌎 ⁣ ⁣ With a background in product design and a lifelong passion for soccer, Jon-Paul Wheatley (@jonpaulsballs) is obsessed with the geometry and construction of soccer balls. After picking up some leather tools in early 2020, he’s a full-time ball maker. ⁣ ⁣ “The balls I like to focus on are the balls that wouldn’t make sense to manufacture,” says Jon-Paul. “I like to explore new construction types, interesting materials or balls designed around specific themes that tell a story.” ⁣ ⁣ This month, Jon-Paul is in Qatar for the World Cup, where he’ll be making balls, documenting his process and cheering on his home country of England. ⁣ ⁣ Video by @jonpaulsballs
