Good morning ♥️ Up and at 'em! Those goals/projects/tasks aren't gonna achieve themselves. Things are busy at the moment for @theblackgirlgamers, building, plus new opportunities and now thinking about new hires. I've never enjoyed learning more especially when I see what the impact comes from learning and how fast new practices can be implemented. One thing I will say is having a job has taught me so much about company structure, leadership, both what to do and what not to do and I continue to learn. A recap of last week: I was brought pleasant surprises and wonderful experiences, as well as continuous draining circumstances that left me confused and resentful. One of the more wonderful moments was the @britishvogue X @mrselfportrait event, where this pic was taken. It's about to be a very busy week. I'm planning for a move, and I'm trying to navigate all the things I have to do. I've become quite an insular person since the pandemic and to be real, it's shown me how much I dedicated myself to others prior, often to my own unknowing detriment. I'm putting boundaries on my self expenditure, not out of malice but for self preservation so I can go on being an impactful, supportive person without whittling away unnecessarily at my own time, energy, resources.
