Every morning I wake up, hoping it was a bad dream. But as reality sets in I have found myself crying uncontrollably before I even made it out of bed. I never realised quite how painful it would be to lose a family dog, the sadness fills my entire body. There isn’t a day I won’t stop thinking of you and wishing things went differently. You were our best friend, you made us a little family and when we were all together I felt like I was truly home. I will never stop loving you Muesli, you were our most loyal little companion and you’ve left a little dog shaped hole in my heart that will never truly heal.
