It feels like all western media has ever really shown from Afghanistan is war & misery, and that's what has shaped the world's perspective. When you hear Afghanistan, war & violence are the first thing that come to mind for most. The reality is Afghanistan is full of warmth, hospitality and pure humanity. After going through decades of hardship, the Afghan people define resilience. It's present pretty much everywhere you look, everyone collectively makes the most of their situation. No matter where you go, strangers with nothing immediately offer you tea & hospitality. These images give a glimpse of everyday life in Kabul that caught my eye.
