Beautiful memories from a few summers ago 💫 Kasper never liked being apart from us. When he was two I took him to Costa Rica for the first time. He loved the beach but not so much the water. When I would go surf he would walk into the ocean with me until his legs were wet but that’s as far as this water shy puppy would go. Big deal for him already. He would sit down in the sand, never let me out of his sight and just wait for me for hours in the same spot. So attached and loyal. You can imagine the excitement when I would come out of the water. Over the years he became more accustomed to the ocean. He still never liked to swim but definitely would go in up to chest height to cool down a bit, follow horseshoe crabs, race with us through the shallows or putter around on a surfboard. I can’t tell you enough how much I cherish these memories. I miss him!
