Replying to @WestSideWitch when I took the #beehiveolin home from experimental luthier, Tyler Thackray (@violintorture) who created it, there were still some bees in the box and still some hatching from larvae. Over the course of about a week, I would take the box outside and open it three times a day or so to let the bees fly away. Once there were no longer any bees hatching or in the box, I set the neck using epoxy (with Tyler’s help and guidance via text) and brought the strings to tension.
