Scientifically speaking, Redwoods are the tallest trees on Earth and among the oldest living organisms as they can live beyond 2000 years. But in speaking of terms of beauty and calm, there is nothing quite like standing next to a living thing that has been on this planet since biblical times. There are no words to describe the stillness and sweetness of the air in a Redwood forest. Muir Woods is a place without peer and we are so lucky to have it.
