FIND ME LOST — I don’t think I’ve ever visited a hotel with so few expectations: before I arrived at the still soft-opened @lostlindenberg last month, I had never heard of this funky Frankfurt-based brand, nor had they released any pictures of the property yet. I had a hunch, though, that’d I’d be in for a pleasant surprise - and I was so very right. Just 8 suites spread over four watchtower-like buildings designed by @alexisdornier and @studio_jencquel, bordering a virtually empty black beach in sleepy Pekutatan in west Bali. It surf-y, but not in that annoying way many of those surfer hideouts can feel like to non-surfers like me - a line on their website sums it up pretty succinctly: “No honeymoon kitsch, no infinity-pool-Insta-architecture, no yoga dogma.” Full review out soon - but if you’re bouncing around Bali, do pay them a visit! 🌴
