How can you build more self-awareness? ⠀ You can do that by taking the time to reflect on your experiences and take the time to absorb what is going on around you - emotionally and physically. ⠀ I’m sharing some questions I like to reflect on as the year comes to a close: ⠀ ✨ On change: What changed about me this year? How would I describe the version of myself from this year? How have I grown? ⠀ ✨On growth: What did I accomplish that I didn’t think was possible? Based on everything that happened this year, what kind of person do I want to become next year? ⠀ ✨On self love: How did I take care of myself (physically, emotionally) this year and how can I continue this next year? ⠀ ✨On acceptance: What disappointed me this year and how did I deal with it? What difficult thing/event did I experience this year, and how did I make meaning of it? ⠀ ✨On gratitude: My life improved this past year thanks to _________. And the habits that helped me this year were ____________. ⠀ These prompts are not meant to be planning for next year. They are meant to be moments of reflection, for you to appreciate how far you’ve come in your own healing. I encourage you to take the time to reflect on these. ⠀ The end of the year is a great time to reflect on all the growth you’ve had over the past year. Taking the time to think about everything that has happened allows you to appreciate the journey and acknowledge the hard work it took. It also lets you make space for the things that didn’t work out the way you wanted to, and what you learned from that. ⠀ I explore human emotional experiences and help people feel more empowered in their emotional health.
