Did a lot of traveling this weekend so these finds aren’t all HP 😈🤙
These bags were dumped near our hostel in Portland. Labeled “Free women’s clothes size S, M, L”. Portland had countless acts of giving with random shelves and boxes full of food and clothes being commonplace.
The second photo features a dear friend finding some colorful storage bins behind a plaza dumpster. I visited them in Washington and they told me they “knew a spot” 😍😍
The third photo is, in fact, a Hyde Park find. Found a plethora of toys and trinkets from Legos to robot dogs. Here’s to hoping Chris is still out there and just outgrew them ❤️
This baby carrier was also in HP. I didn’t take it. 🥴
This shoe rack was found on the streets of San Francisco. Adorable note. The dumps there were heavily guarded. I’d like to think they locked the dumps because the city was alerted of my arrival. Although, in reality, there were stringent measures in place to prevent scavenging, largely from people experiencing homelessness.
The last photo was sent to me by a friend who found a dumped couch in HP and thought of me. I’ll ignore the mental associations, and appreciate the gesture ❤️❤️
