Gabriel Rico’s first solo show in China has officially opened! 🌵✨ Beiqiu Museum of Contemporary Art is pleased to present 'Hey, look at me! I’m totally entangled with not-me!,’ an exhibition featuring thirty-seven recent works by Mexican artist @GabrielRicoEstudio, including a large number never before shown. In the exhibition, Rico illustrates the connection between technology, art, nature, and human knowledge while referencing Mayan myth as told in the Popol Vuh. Rico's work is characterized by the interrelation of seemingly disparate objects, connected through arrows and mathematical systems to imply an internal logic. 'Hey, look at me! I’m totally entangled with not-me!’ is on view until November 13, 2022.
